I found the satellite phone store online. Did some research and decided to get a satellite phone, the lady who i talk to was very polite and very helpful. I've had a couple of questions since I purchased the phone and they have always answered my question promptly and professionally. I'm very satisfied with their service and will recommend them to anybody who asked me or tells me that they're interested in getting a satellite phone. Thank you.
I notified them to suspend service on my month to month contract. They acknowledged the call log and request but continued to bill me saying I didn't conform to their suspense policy. They apologized for their "communication error" not inform me to also email a request but still won't reverse their billing. A low class company, and often a sign in financial trouble.
I first heard about satellite phones from Mike Adams aka "the health ranger." I have been putting this purchase off for a couple of years and after what happened in Maui decided to pull the trigger. I called and spoke with Alvin who was very professional. He patiently went over the phone options and costs and answered all my questions. He convinced me I could obtain these phones within my budget. It was the best investment I have made in a while! I have a strong feeling that these phones will not only help me and my husband, but our neighbors as well!

Got overcharged for a sat phone rental. Turns out shipping time is NOT included, even after I paid for a shipping return label from them. Customer service was nice, but ultimately didn't do much. Won't buy from them again. Would not recommend.

I was thinking of getting a sat phone for some time. I had many questions and all were answered through the chat on your site. The deal was great as well. The phone included a faraday bag and hard travel case.
We travel to some remote places and ride adventure motorcycles deep in to the backcountry where there is no cell service. This will provide a level of security I have been looking for.
Well there was a deal on the website that I definitely and thankfully took advantage of. Thank god my phone was delivered in just a few days, and although they are just supposed to work outside, mine even sort of works in my trailer sometimes, lol. I had a few issues along the way, getting and setting up the phone, but the customer service exceeded my expectations and helped me get it all right. So far I highly recommend the Satellite Phone Store and hope to work for them for the foreseeable future. Thank you so much for all you did, I really appreciate this now. Best of luck.
Received phone fast. Customer service was great. The instructions to use the phone was very simple and the phone arrived activated.
I ordered 2 Iridium 9555 from the website. It included 2 Garmin Forerunner 45 watches. The bundle was a great offer. After placing my order, I was shocked by the high amount of surcharges/tax but it wasn't itemized so I couldn't see the details so instead of paying the $99 x (2) for the lines, I ended up paying about $486 dollars. The strange thing is when I went back to simulate an order for 1 the taxes/surcharge was only $25 dollars which only made me suspicious. I read all the necessary documentation and placed my order.
After not receiving any shipping information after a week or so. I received a email message from Sue Shores Connecta Satellite Solutions, LLC - Business Solutions Coordinator (who was amazing by the way) attempting to reach me about my order. She later called me and explained how my service start month will be moving to June since I didn't received the phones yet, and that I would receive a tracking number when they were shipped.
After a couple of days, I contacted the 800 # for Satellite Phone Store to see when the phones would be shipped, and the representative was horribly rude, telling me I have a balance of $167 and the phones will not be shipped until I pay that amount. I was so confused at that point. He continued to say they require payment for 2 months in advance, but I told him I didn't read anything like that when I ordered the phones online then he started to lecture me how I didn't pay anything for the phones and he outright just ignored my concerns. I told him to just cancel my phone.
After that I called Sue's direct number that was listed in my email but no answer; however, she called me right back and basically saved the day. She was knowledgeable and swift to get things in order, told me my phones will be shipped in short order and explained my next payment for service would be in July and automatically charged on my card. I did receive my phones in short order and was pleased with Sue's amazing customer service. But I did not receive the 2 watches included with the bundle I ordered. I called Sue back and she explained the watches were on back order and they would be shipped as soon as possible.
Activation
Activating the phone was pretty simple. The first phone worked perfectly; however, on the second phone I received SIM Card Error. I called the 800 number and spoke with a representative who attempted to troubleshoot but without a remedy told me someone will contact me regarding the issue and they may have to send me a new SIM card.
So 11 days after my purchase, I have no watches, only one phone that works, crazy high amount for surcharges vs if I only ordered 1 phone, and Sue saving the day. I would have given this experience a 1 star but because of Sue, I selected a 2 star. Will I get my watches? Will I be able to use my second phone? The jury's still not out yet.
Have not set up phone yet but will very soon. Great shipping with FedEx.

Everything was received in excellent condition and ready to use.
We had purchased a satellite phone due to places we go with no or very poor service. We were excited to buy this since they said it was made in the USA. When we received it and I was going thru all the parts that came with it, I came across a part that the package said China! I called and they said that all parts were made in the USA which my husband and myself both knew was not true. They said we could pay to send it back and they would see what they could do. I did that and did not hear from anyone so I called and they said they did receive it and would get back with me with in an hour about a refund, which, of course, they did not. I called and emailed several times and today they finally emailed me again and said that none of the parts were made in China! I did not make that up it was clearly written on the package.
I guess we are just out the money for the phone and the cost of sending it back!
I would not trust this company! We are in our 70's and feel we have been taken advantage of. How many others are out there like us?

Sales driven company with very poor after sale service. They make it difficult to suspend month to month service even after acknowledging your request. They'll continue to bill for unused service. I will find another Iridium service provider.

I had all my questions answered by Tyler Johnson. The only suggestion I could make is I wish someone had let me know my credit card was declined. When I called Satellite Phone to get my tracking number I was told my card was declined. When I called AmEx an old card that had been compromised was pulled up by mistake. My new card should have been used and AmEx approved the charge.
I purchased 3 phones for my family. Gives us all peace of mind that we are safe and can connect with each other at any moment.
Very easy to order on the website. I was contacted by customer service just to make sure I had ordered everything I needed. They were very helpful in pointing out a number of options that I hadn't thought of that really enhanced the first time buying experience. Everything worked perfectly and arrived very quickly. Just days after I ordered on RAV Real American Voice they state you get a solar charge pack and bugout bag which I didn't receive. I am hoping to get these items as part of my order without cancelling, returning my sat phones and then reordering..
Phone assistance was part of my decision process. The ease of placing my order over the internet was simple. The product arrived with all the accessories. I was pleased and surprised that the SIMS card was installed along with the battery which I charged-up. I have yet to set-up the phone but will do soon.

If you buy Inmarsat satellite phone through Satellite Phone Store, you pay for the service monthly. However, once the contract is up after allotted amount of time, your ROLL OVER MINUTES WILL NOT CONTINUE UNLESS YOU CONTINUE THE MONTHLY SERVICE OR PLACE YOUR PHONE ON STANDBY at about $20 per month which is significantly less. BEWARE!
I asked a question on the chat and never got an answer. I was asking if the phone I was ordering came with everything I needed. No answer. I need this asap for my son who hunts in wilderness so getting it over night. Sure hope it has the charger and/or whatever else it needs. Inmarsat IsatPhone 2 Satellite Phon... was phone I ordered.
